Stockholm; white, grey and dusty pink

For sale right now in the beautiful, smart district of Östermalm in Stockholm is this light, bright and airy apartment decorated in white and grey with a dusty pink accent. I love how the wishbone chairs make a focal point.

So envious of the all white floors. What would be your absolute dream floor?

I think the print in the kitchen is  by one of my favourite Swedish typographers, Therese Sennerholt however, I can't find it on her website - am I wrong (could I be...no way!? haha!). I am always on the look out for great black and white prints, a current favourite is this one

On the subject of black and white....don't forget to enter my give-away if you haven't already (sorry to bang on about this, I just don't want anyone to miss out!).

The home of a Danish fashion blogger

Hi all! I arrived back to an extremely stormy, wet, and cold Sweden at 2am this morning -gah!  Thankfully I have beautiful scandinavian interior design to cheer me up. This is the home of Danish fashion blogger Stephanie Gundalech in the centre of Copenhagen captured by Line Klein and styled by Helen Wiggers for Elle Decoration DK.

Photography: Line Klein, Stylist: Helen Wiggers Home owner: Stephanie Gundalech.

Such a beautiful home, I especially love the soft earthy hues and the wall displays. Is there anything that stands out for you?

Thank you Line for the kind permission to share these images.

And there's a little good news on the my scandinavian home front.....a wonderful new sponsor!

Mirror, mirror on the wall

It's the weekend, yay! And two exciting things today - firstly, a friend sent me a link to this beautiful loft for sale in Malmö, Southern Sweden through Erik Olsson (again). She thought it would be right up my street with the white walls and floor and the touches of natural wood and the mirrors (oh it is, Malin, it is!). I love the way the mirrors bounce light around the home and create a feeling of space, beautiful! Such great inspiration for the weekend!  What do you think? And the second exciting bit of news is......

Wall space: pretty pictures the imperfect way

Happy Friday people! Woo hoo! When I say these picture wall displays I'm thinking why all the 'left a bit, right a bit' shenninagins?! They can look just as pretty any old way you want them to! It's inspired me to grab all those old pics I have lying around and do something with them this weekend!

Have a lovely reflective weekend!

This picture is so beautiful. It inspires me to hang my vintage-style lace wedding dress somewhere in my home.  If only I had a wonderful mirror like this!

Sadly I have no idea where this picture comes from. I found it on Pinterest (click logo to the right of this page). If you know I'd love it if you could leave a comment!

Have a lovely couple of days and see you Monday!

Oh Deery me!

Hejsan, hejsan! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas? I went home to London with my little family. We stayed near a park with lots of beautiful deer which inspired me for this post. No home would be complete this winter without a deer. I love these 'ideers'. Deery deery me, just lovely! Ok enough...(to many crackers?!).

I am in beautiful Copenhagen this afternoon looking for a cool home for a press shoot. I love the Danish capital, it's so relaxed with a lovely bohemian feel. I might just stay all afternoon....
