A relaxed dutch home with vintage touches

I have to admit, this Tuesday I'm feeling just a little bit bluuuur. I think it could be because my holiday's officially over. It could be that the weather is just a bit cold, cloudy and windy. I'm not sure. But this interior from the FAB Dutch interior magazine VT Wonen which I spotted over at SF Girl By Bay has done a little to lift my spirits at least. It's sooooo cool. I love all the vintage finds, the eclectic mix of furniture and the relaxed vibe. Peeeeerfect.

I really love pink in a home and thankfully my man is just a little bit colour blind and thinks fuschia pink is in fact red.... mwah ha ha ha!

Do you have a favourite accent colour of the moment?

The fab home of Fenton & Fenton owner

It's Friiiiiday! And what better way to get in the mood for the weekend than this bright and cheerful crammed full of unusual finds from travels across the globe? It's the home of Lucy Fenton,  owner of the very hip Melbourne interior shop Fenton & Fenton.

I can't really decide which room or item is my favourite, there are just sooooo many wonderful things! What do you reckon? The moodboard and chairs in the picture above are pretty cool?! What a faaaaab home.

You can get more info and see more pics over at Home Life, oh and it's definitely worth checking out the photographer and stylists websites too!

Have a wonderful weekend guys! x

Old meets new in a home with a twist

Inspired by an absolutely beautiful Alice in Wonderland children's garden party I saw here I thought I'd feature a slightly different home today. A beautiful home created by Gilles Jauffret with an eclectic mix of old and new and little unexpected twists.  Personality and creativity sings from every room. A perfect home tour for the weekend!

Any favourite rooms or ideas? Personally, the moss wall stands out a mile, who would have thought it could look so great? People, we need to be more bold!

Just before I head off to the beach with my girls I've got to give you a quick tip to check out the Haute Design blog, it's full of so many fantastic posts, a quick word of warning though, you could be stuck there for hours!

Have a lovely Friday! x

Eclectic, vintage inspired spaces in Scotland

Today is a good day. The sun is shining in Skåne. Hurray! And to celebrate I wanted to share theses beautiful eclectic, vintage inspired spaces styled by Rosie Brown, the Scottish co-owner of online boutique Papa Stour (love the name!) which sells the cream of Scottish contemporary crafts and design.

Any spaces you loved in particular?

I love the picture of the view looking out over the roof tops as it reminds me of my days at Edinburgh University. We always lived in top floor flats and after a long climb up a stony staircase we were rewarded with a beautiful view like this, and hopefully a cup of tea and a piece of toast like in the last picture! Thank you to blog SF Girl By Bay for the tip!

A vintage / industrial / modern B&B in Provence anyone?!

Dreaming of escape to this very cool and very beautiful hotel, La Maison Pujol in Provence, France this morning. I visited Provence last year. Oh how I wish I'd stayed in this bed and breakfast packed with vintage pieces and a great touch of modern industrial. The only problem is I might still be there. Thank you to  photographer Manolo Yllera for the permission to use these great images.

Love the big letters, love the touches of orange, the concrete walls, the dining area....yup, pretty much love everything!

Trevlig Torsdag! Have a lovely day!

Eclectic family home

Hejsan hejsan! Things are getting a little frantic with Christmas round the corner. Eeeeek. Deep breath in. Deep breath out. I thought this relaxed eclectic home in Australia might take our minds off it all this morning. I especially love the colours in the sitting room. Lovely!
